A car has come to rest in a hedge following a single-vehicle collision on Main Road in Havenstreet this morning (Thursday), just metres from the scene of a similar incident earlier this week.
Emergency services were called at around 10.45am to reports of a vehicle leaving the road near the Firestone Copse Road junction.
At the scene, a Skoda Yeti travelling towards Ryde had left the carriageway and ended up in a hedge.
Due to the nature of the initial call, an Operational Commander and Critical Care Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were dispatched.
However, injuries are believed to be minor.
One pumping appliance from Ryde also attended.
On Tuesday, another vehicle left the road at virtually the same location.
The circumstances surrounding both collisions remain unclear.
The road remains open under the direction of police, with recovery of the vehicle by Bartletts Service Station expected to take place shortly.
