Cancellations Hit Vehicle Ferry Services On Red Funnel

Red Funnel has cancelled 12 vehicle ferry sailings between Southampton and East Cowes due to a propulsion fault.

Thursday evening’s 20:15 from Southampton and 21:45 from East Cowes were cancelled, with the company citing unplanned maintenance on propulsion equipment.

Further disruption is occuring today, with five departures from Southampton — at 05:00, 08:00, 11:00, 14:00 and 17:00 — cancelled, along with five sailings from East Cowes — at 06:30, 09:30, 12:30, 15:30 and 18:30.
