Can You Hear Us? Launches Island-Wide Celebration Of Culture With Grants And Leadership Opportunities

Creative Island is set to deliver CAN YOU HEAR US?, a six-week, Island-wide celebration of culture this Autumn, funded by Arts Council England.

Applications are now open for two key opportunities supporting local creativity and leadership.

Micro-Grants Programme

The micro-grants programme offers 20–25 grants of £500–£1,000 to local groups to run creative activities anywhere on the Isle of Wight between March and October 2026, in partnership with Creative Lives.

Cultural Leadership Programme

The fully funded Cultural Leadership Programme is open to 12 Island-based participants from March to October 2026.

The programme aims to develop leadership skills for people who bring communities together, make things happen, or have ideas to grow culture on the Island.

“Culture” includes creative, heritage, environmental, social, education, and library sectors, as well as community spaces.
