Bad Weather Cancels Appley Beach Tournament

Bad weather has cancelled a beach cricket tournament which was planned to take place on Appley Beach today (Tuesday).

Eight teams were set to compete on the seafront in Ryde, with several teams expected to travel to the Island from the mainland.

The Isle of Wight Cricket Board has confirmed the tournament will now take place on another date - though it's not yet known when that will be.
