Nearly 90 tennis players competed in the 2025 West Wight Tennis Tournament, raising money for Isle of Wight charities.
Mountbatten Isle of Wight and SWAY (South Wight Area Youth) were the grateful recipients of the funds, following the event which took place at Westover House (with thanks to Caroline Weeks).
An amazing 88 players were whittled down to the final four: Ian Wellby and Gillian McKinney vs Doug O’Keefe and Sally Paul. The match was well-fought but, in the end, it was Ian and Gillian who were victorious.
After play on Westover's beautiful courts, a superb buffet lunch was served up, by Mountbatten Isle of Wight's catering team.
£3,000 was raised for Mountbatten Isle of Wight, while £1,000 was handed to SWAY.

Playing Live Crypto Baccarat on Rakebit has been one of the most entertaining online gaming experiences I’ve had. The dealers are professional and friendly, which makes the whole setup feel very authentic. I also appreciate that the game runs smoothly without glitches or interruptions, creating a seamless experience every time. What’s nice is how Rakebit offers multiple table limits, so you can choose the pace that suits you best. For me, it combines strategy, excitement, and a social vibe that makes it more engaging than regular slots or RNG games. Overall, I’m genuinely impressed with what Rakebit delivers here.
