Get creative at our weekly sessions for writers and illustrators of all abilities!
All genres are encouraged and everyone is welcome. The ground floor community room is fully accessible too.
Activities do vary during these weekly sessions - sometimes MAD Scribblers is held in conjunction with Silent Book Club, where people come in and read quietly.
Sometimes it might be a quiet creative session, where writers and artists are welcome to pop in any time, work quietly on their own projects OR browse the large range of resources OR learn more about writing and drawing competitions - and chat to the hosts about all things writing (both are writers).
Sometimes MAD Scribblers also hosts local author or illustrator talks, workshops, sharing sessions or themed activities too.
You can see more about themes and activities during MAD Scribblers sessions by following the MAD-Aid DOT Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/madaiddot
There are hot and cold drinks and cakes for sale during MAD Scribblers sessions, as well as the second-hand bookstall, where books are for sale by donation. All proceeds go to East Cowes-based charity MAD-Aid.
