Ryde Businesses Join For Charity Fashion Show In Aid Of Daisy Chains

Another successful fashion show from Bellissima and Sugar & Spice Lingerie was held at Ryde Castle Hotel showing spring and summer fashions.

More than 140 people attended to raise money for Daisy Chains Isle of Wight.

The charity supports Island based premature babies and children with life limiting conditions and their families.

Funding goes towards cross-Solent travel and accommodation, along with equipment and therapy.

Mandy and Kellie from Daisy Chains said:

“We would like to say a huge thank you to Tina and Sheila from the two shops for supporting us with their fashion show.

"It was a fantastic event which raised a huge £1,696 for us.

"The funds will be used to help many Island families with children needing support.”

The audience were treated to an 'Absolutely Fabulous' opening routine along with compering and entertainment from "Short N Sweet Duo" and around 100 outfits comprising summer casual and best dress clothing, lingerie, swimwear and nightwear.

Sheila from Sugar and Spice said of the bi-annual event:

“Yet again we sold out of tickets.

"We are so grateful to our lovely customers who attended and raised money.”
