The death of a man in his 20s on the outskirts of Newport yesterday (Wednesday) is not being treated as suspicious.
Police were called to the Burnt House Lane area at 3.53pm following reports of an unexpected death.
On attendance, police located the body of a man aged in his 20s.
His next of kin have been informed.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary confirmed:
"At this time there is no evidence of third party involvement.
"Enquiries are ongoing and a file will be prepared for the Coroner."
