Three Golds For Parkdean Resorts British Travel Awards

Parkdean Resorts, which operates four holiday parks on the Isle of Wight, has secured an unprecedented back-to-back hat-trick of Gold Awards at the British Travel Awards.

The UK’s leading holiday park operator repeated its incredible success from 2022, once again taking home the Gold Award in all three categories it was nominated for:

  • Best Company for UK Family Holidays
  • Best Company for UK Parks and Lodges Holidays
  • Best Company for UK Short Breaks

The latest success extends Parkdean Resorts’ remarkable winning streak at the BTAs, where it has won at least one Award for thirteen years running.

The BTAs are the largest consumer-voted travel awards in the UK, and in 2023 a record 1,660,863 votes were cast across the travel and leisure categories.

Hosted by sports presenter and actress, Charlotte Jackson Coleman, alongside Strictly Come Dancing’s “Voice in the Gods”, Alan Dedicoat, the travel industry enjoyed a night of celebrations with a carnival theme including Latin American dance performances during the event.

Xavier Vallee, Chief Customer Officer at Parkdean Resorts, said:

“These awards mean so much to us because they’re voted for by the people who visit our parks.

"Our teams are committed to creating amazing experiences for all our holidaymakers and holiday home owners.

"For so many members of the public to vote for us in these three categories shows what a fantastic impact our people have had over the last year.”

Parkdean Resorts operates 66 holiday parks across the UK, including Thorness Bay, Nodes Point, Landguard and Lower Hyde on the Isle of Wight.

The BTA treble comes after nineteen parks received official ‘Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice’ recognition from the world’s largest travel guidance platform in 2023.

The company continues to record excellent visitor reviews with 2023 year-to-date feedback scores of 4.2/5 on Google, 4.5/5 on Facebook and 4.1/5 on TripAdvisor, while 85% of people who visited Parkdean would recommend the company.

This year, the holiday park operator published its first ESG report, a significant milestone which outlines the progress the business is making on its plans to care for its parks, people, and planet by delivering 25 wide-ranging commitments by 2025.
