Temporary Entrance For Red Jet Passengers

If you’re travelling on a Red Jet service this week, you'll need to use an alternative entrance/exit at the company's Southampton Terminal. Workers have put up scaffolding in preparation for repairs and renovations to the outside roof area. The West Cowes-Southampton service is not affected. A Red Funnel spokesperson said: "Over the next 2 days, passengers will need to use an alternate entrance/exit, (i.e. the ‘Marina Entrance’ of Town Quay) which will be clearly marked with high-vis signage. From Friday, we’ll be back to business as usual and passengers can go back to using the normal entrance/exit. "Beyond Friday, the actual repairs and renovations work will get underway, and we expect this work to take a number of weeks. While we don’t anticipate any disruptions as a result, you may notice some activity and noise from time to time. "We're also happy to confirm that this work will include a nice deep clean of the roof/ceiling area as well as a fix to the leak you may have noticed. (So hopefully you'll agree this work is very welcome.) "Thank you for bearing with us as we seek to improve your travel experience. "Should you have any questions or concerns, feel free to visit us at the Southampton Red Jet Ticket Office and speak with a member of staff."
