Isle Of Wight Photographers Shortlisted In British Photography Awards

Two talented Isle of Wight photographers have been shortlisted in this year's British Photography Awards.

Shots captured by Sienna Anderson and David Rutherford have both been commended.

Sienna's photograph of a squirrel and David's picture of Example at the Isle of Wight Festival are both in the running for awards, in the Land Animal and Event categories, respectively.

Sienna said:

"Taken in my garden at home on the Isle of Wight, I have developed a special trust and bond with these beautiful animals.

"They happily run over to greet me every time I leave the house."

"After the craziness that has been the past few years with covid, my intention of this image was to capture the feeling of togetherness during this Isle of Wight Festival big top performance by Example.

"I was fortunate enough to have stage access for the entire set, so chose my moment before heading up front and timing this image."
