Christmas Celebration For East Cowes

The East Cowes Business Association is holding a celebration of Christmas next month (December) in King’s Square and the Well Road Car Park.

In partnership with East Cowes Town Council, Red Funnel and other community partners, the town is pulling out all the stops to create a fun and festive atmosphere to bring the community together.

Market Days CIC is organising a market event on the day which brings Island makers and producers together with food and produce including the Garlic Farm, Wild Island and Isle of Wight Mushrooms, and local artisans including Thomas P Cochran Silver Jewellery, AJB Beauty and Pamper, Kissma Lily homewares, Sandown Sweets, Isle Be Jewellery and Goodland Isle of Wight Outdoor Backpacks and Neddies Bar.

Tracy Reardon, Secretary of the East Cowes Business Association, said:

“The East Cowes Business Association has been involved in Christmas in the square for well over 25 years, this community event has given lovely memories to the people and especially the children of East Cowes at this magical time of year!

"This year the East Cowes Business Association is reviving the market and providing free entertainment for all, it is hoped that everyone will come along to support us whilst making more festive memories of our wonderful town."

Fran Collins, Chief Executive at Red Funnel, said:

“We are delighted to be sponsoring such a special event this festive season, supporting the East Cowes community. After the difficult period we have all faced over the past 18 months, it is more important than ever to come together and support local Island businesses. We look forward to welcoming the Island community and kicking off the festive season.”

The event will open 12-6pm on Friday, December 3.
