Kelly Wetherick is a landscape archaeologist, heritage professional, and educator based on the Isle of Wight. Her work explores the relationship between people, memory, and landscape, with a particular focus on how historic environments shape cultural identity and sense of place.

Drawing on interdisciplinary approaches that combine archaeology, ecology, local history, and community engagement, she specialises in interpreting landscapes through both their physical remains and lived human experience.

Her research interests include historic farmsteads, settlement patterns and the experiential understanding of place. Through guided walks, public archaeology projects, and collaborative heritage initiatives, she works to make archaeology accessible to wider audiences and to deepen public connection with the landscapes of the Isle of Wight.
