Police Launch Urgent Appeal To Help Find Missing Newport Woman

Police are appealing for the public's help to find a missing 77-year-old woman from Newport.

Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Brenda Ealey, who was last seen near St Mary's Hospital on Parkhurst Road at around 11am today (Wednesday).

Brenda is described as white, around 5ft 5ins tall, of medium build, with shoulder-length grey hair. She wears glasses.

When she was last seen, Brenda was wearing a black coat with a cream-coloured hood, dark trousers and was carrying a light-coloured bag.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary is urging anyone who may have seen Brenda, or who has any information about her whereabouts, to come forward immediately.

Police are asking residents in Newport and surrounding areas to check gardens, outbuildings, doorbell cameras and any places where Brenda may have sought shelter.
