CCTV Image Issued Following Shoplifting In Ryde

Police have issued a CCTV image of man they would like to speak to after a shoplifting incident at Sainsbury’s on Union Street, Ryde.
On Christmas Eve (Wednesday 24 December) shortly before 6pm, a man placed around thirty boxes of chocolate, worth £180, in a bag before leaving Sainsbury’s on Union Street without paying for them.
Following enquiries, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary is now able to share an image of a man who was seen in the area at the time and we believe may be able to assist with our investigation into this incident.
He is described as:
Between 20 to 30-years-oldÂ
White
5ft 9inchs tall
Medium build
With brown or dark blonde hair
Wearing a red jacket over a jumper and dark blue trousersÂ
