HOLIDAY PRIZE Terms and Conditions (please make sure you agree to the full terms and conditions before entering)
Prize Terms and Conditions
The Prize: One seven-night (7), king or double-bedded accommodation-only holiday for two (2) adults at the Hilton Barbados Resort in Bridgetown, Barbados (subject to availability and selected blackout dates). Flights for the redemption of the Prize Holiday Package are provided by the Barbados Tourism & Marketing Inc. and must be booked once the accommodations have been confirmed. Adventures in Radio Ltd will oversee these bookings.
Accommodation for the redemption of the Prize Holiday Package will be provided by the Hilton Barbados. Prize is inclusive of breakfast, Wi-Fi in all guest rooms and public areas, service charge and VAT only.
The Prize excludes: Spending money, telephone calls, tours & excursions, inter-island transportation All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the Prize package description, including but not limited to, all ground transportation (outside of local airport transfers in Barbados), travel insurance, passenger tariffs or duties, airline fees, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees and taxes. holiday insurance, COVID-19 tests, visas and ESTA’s are not included and must be purchased before travel, if required.
There will only be one (1) winner. Prize winner must be over eighteen (18) years of age and their travel companion must travel on the same itinerary.
Passports are required for international travel and must have at least six (6) months validity from completion of the prize trip (i.e., the date you travel home).
The Holiday prize cannot be taken during peak seasons namely or i.e. Easter, Crop Over, Festive Season and or the New Year; blackout dates and restrictions will apply. The Prize must be taken in full entirety – seven (7) nights – at one time and cannot be split into select dates.
The Prize must be redeemed before June 30th 2025. The prize is strictly non-transferable; no cash alternative is available, and the prize cannot be redeemed for cash. If the winner is unable to redeem the Prize within the specified time the Prize will be forfeited.
The Prize is subject to the Hilton Barbados Resort’s terms and conditions as outlined below:
- Valid from July 1st , 2024 to June 30th , 2025. Blackout travel and stay dates include but are not limited to:
- June 1st – 30th 2024
- July 26th – August 9th 2024
- December 1st 2024 – April 15th 2025.
- Prize is for room accommodation for two (2) persons for seven (7) nights and buffet breakfast at the Lighthouse Terrace Restaurant ONLY with no other inclusions.
- Original prize certificate must be presented on arrival.
- Prize winner to contact our Reservations Team at [email protected] to book reservation.
- Prize certificate is not valid without authorised signature, is non-transferable and resale is prohibited.
- If the prize certificate is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without permission, a replacement will not be provided in these circumstances.
- The prize certificate should not combined with other certificates or vouchers, and is not valid with other promos or offers.
Winner will stay at the Hilton Barbados Resort subject to availability.
The Hilton Barbados Resort shall not be liable for any claim made whatsoever, including but not limited to loss, compensation, or refund by reason of such substitution or deviation.
Prize value is an approximate value only based on select travel dates.
PRIVACY POLICY/USE OF DATA: ONLY THE NAME AND THE CONTACT EMAIL ADDRESS OF THE PRIZE WINNER WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE PRIZE PROVIDER. The UK version of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 which is part of UK law by virtue of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, as supplemented by the Data Protection Act 2018; provides a number of protections for use of your personal data. Any personal data collected from the Prize Winner and provided to the BTMI. As the Prize Provider and Administrator of the Prize for redemption purposes shall be subject to our privacy policy. The Prize Provider will only use the personal data of the prize winner and travel companion for the purposes of administrating the Prize redemption, unless the Prize winner and travel companion provide express consent signifying their agreement to any other processing or use of their personal data. For Prize redemption purposes the personal data collected from the Prize winner and travel companion will be shared with the Prize Provider’s reservations affiliate and the resort which are both located outside of the United Kingdom.
Employees and their immediate families of the Barbados Tourism & Marketing Inc. and the Hilton Barbados Resort and their associated agencies or affiliated companies are not eligible to enter to win.
The Competition is open only to legal residents of the United Kingdom and Ireland who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry (the “Entrants”). One entry per household.
Each Entrant agrees and as a condition of possibly being awarded the Prize to release and hold harmless the Prize Provider and its affiliated companies and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and insurers from and against any and all claims, causes of action and/or liability for any injuries, illness, death, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in and/or entry into the competition or receipt or possession, use or misuse of the Prize or any element thereof.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER (THIS PARAGRAPH MAY OR MAY NOT BE REQUIRED)
THIS SECTION PROVIDES FOR THE EXCLUSIVE RESOLUTION OF DISPUTESTHROUGH INDIVIDUAL LEGAL ACTION AND SUPERSEDES ANY LAW ENTITLING GUEST TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION. THIS CLASS ACTION WAIVER PRECLUDES GUEST FROM PARTICIPATING IN OR BEING REPRESENTED IN ANY CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION REGARDING ANY CLAIM BROUGHT UNDER AS A RESULT OF ANY AGREEMENT. EVEN IF APPLICABLE LAW PROVIDES OTHERWISE, GUEST AGREES THAT ANY ARBITRATION OR LAWSUIT AGAINST ANY ENTITY UNDER THE UNIQUE GROUP AND/OR SANDALS RESORTS WHATSOEVER SHALL BE LITIGATED BY GUEST INDIVIDUALLY AND NOT AS A MEMBER OF ANY CLASS OR AS PART OF A CLASS ACTION, AND GUEST EXPRESSLY AGREES TO WAIVE AUTHORITY TO ARBITRATE CLAIMS ON A CLASS ACTION BASIS. IF GUEST'S CLAIM IS SUBJECT TO LEGAL PROCEEDING UNDER FOREIGN SELECTION AND CHOICE OF LAW PROVISIONS OF THE ACCOMMODATIONS, AMENITIES, TRANSPORATION AND OTHER PRODUCTS OR SERVICES TERMS AND CONDITIONS. THE GUEST FURTHER AGREES AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE CLASS ACTION WAIVER IS MATERIAL AND ESSENTIAL TO THE PROCEEDING OF ANY DISPUTES BETWEEN THE PARTIES AND IS NON-SEVERABLE FROM THE AGREEMENT TO ANY CLAIMS HEREIN. THE VALIDITY AND EFFECT OF THIS CLASS ACTION WAIVER MAY BE DETERMINED ONLY BY A JUDGE OR COURT OF LAW. GUEST AGREES THAT THIS SECTION SHALL NOT BE SEVERABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FROM THE FORUM SELECTION AND CHOICE OF LAW PROVISION SET FORTH IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Guest agrees that the parties referenced in FOREIGN SELECTION AND CHOICE OF LAW PROVISIONS OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS that may be the subject of any claim by Guest can receive immediate judicial assistance to enforce this class action waiver.
