WINNER ANNOUNCED: Bag A Family Ticket To The Isle Of Wight Steam Railway Steam Fair
Congratulations to our winner, Ally Haywood!
We've got a family pass for four to give away to this exciting bank holiday event on the railway!
We've teamed up with the Isle Of Wight Steam Railway to offer a family pass for four (two adults, two children) to enjoy a day with the steam fair, taking place between August 26 - 29.
About the event:
Now in its 47th year, the Island Steam Fair is back for another action-packed year. It’s the bank holiday event on the Island with bundles of fun and explosive acts in the main arena.
Enjoy a fabulous collection of vintage transport, traditional fairground, live entertainment, plus steam trains running on the line!
At the heart of the show are the mighty steam traction engines. See a fabulous collection of road rollers, showman's engines and miniatures - these former workhorses make a fabulous sight, particularly when they steam around our main arena.
The main arena is the place to go for action-packed entertainment and with a busy programme throughout the day, there's lots to keep everyone in the family enthralled.
For 2022 the railway also welcomes back the Sheep Show. Presented in humorous Kiwi style, they'll introduce you to their loveable breeds of sheep, each with a story to tell, and even their own theme tune! They also welcome some 'roarsome' dinosaurs; Roxy the Raptor, Dexter the T-Rex, Tiny the Triceratops.
To win this lovely prize and attend on a day of your choice, all you need to do is comment below, telling us why your family deserves a treat this summer and why! As ever, we'll pick our favourite, and reveal the winner on this page!
The closing date is Sunday August 21 - from all of us here, best of luck!
Know a friend who would want to take part? Invite them to join here!
