Youths Spoken To By Police After Concrete 'Thrown' From Ryde Rooftops

Three teenage boys were detained and spoken to by police after an incident in Ryde last night (Wednesday).

As previously reported, officers were called at 5.57pm last night with reports that concrete was thrown from the roof of Boots on Ryde High Street.

Police attended, and a group of three youths, aged 13-14, came down from the roof.

NPAS - the National Police air Support helicopter -= was also drafted in. 

The boys were taken to Ryde Police Station, where officers spoke with their parents.

Police have said that enquiries are ongoing, and they are working with all parties involved, including the business affected, to determine the next course of action.
