Witness Appeal After Car Run Off Road In Ventnor

Investigations are underway after a car was allegedly run off the road by another vehicle in Ventnor.

A 28-year-old man arrested on suspicion of criminal damage has been bailed.

Hampshire Constabulary says it was called to Ocean View Road at around 4.35pm on July 28.

It was reported that a Peugeot was forced off the road by another vehicle – described as a Nissan – and damage was subsequently caused to the Peugeot’s windscreen.

Following this incident, it’s reported that an unidentified man handed a piece of paper to the Peugeot driver which contained details of the Nissan.

Police want to identify this man as they're confident he has witnessed this incident, and want to speak to him about what he saw.
