Wightlink has confirmed it is suspending all weekend sailings on its Lymington-Yarmouth route from Saturday (16).
The ferry firm says "very few people" are using this route on Saturdays and Sundays due to the Government’s latest travel restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Currently, only essential travel is allowed.
Weekday sailings will continue on the same timetable and will be kept under review.
Wightlink has already suspended its Portsmouth to Ryde FastCat service, and its Portsmouth to Fishbourne route is operating a two-hourly service.
See www.wightlink.co.uk for further details of the timetable.
