Motorists are being asked to take extra care this morning, as a wide load - 4 and a half metres wide - is escorted from East Cowes to St Marys.
Docklands Traffic Management says that on some stretches of its journey, short term traffic holds will be in place to allow the load to be moved safely.
It's due to be leaving East Cowes at 9am, and will travel via Wootton, Whiterails Road, Staplers, and on to St Marys.
