Wet Leg To Make Glastonbury Festival Debut As 2022 Lineup Announced

Wet Leg will make their Glastonbury Festival debut this year, after around 80 artists were announced for the blockbuster event.

The festival, based at Worthy Farm in Somerset, takes place between June 22 and 26 — kicking off exactly one year and one week after Wet Leg exploded onto the scene with the release of Chaise Longue.

The Isle of Wight band — fronted by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers — began a US tour on Wednesday (March 2).

Paul McCartney, Billie Eilish and Kendrick Lamar have been confirmed at the three headline acts when the event returns for the first time in three years.

Releasing its first wave of acts online, the festival confirmed Foals, Wolf Alice and Years & Years will also perform at the five-day extravaganza this summer.

In addition to Wet Leg, new acts such as Arlo Parks, Doja Cat, Easy Life, Fontaines DC and Griff will feature alongside more established names including Crowded House, Primal Scream and Supergrass.

Pet Shop Boys confirmed on Twitter that they will be headlining The Other Stage – Glastonbury’s second largest stage – in a “long-awaited” performance.
