Yarmouth's Wheatsheaf pub is to close its doors, it has been announced.
The pub, based on Bridge Road, has been part of the town's community for decades, with owners Shaun and Kathryn taking the helm 17 years ago.
They say they are "very sad" to have made the decision to shut:
"We have met lovely people and had great craic over the last 17 years. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support."
However, the pair say there is some good news for those who love their food:
"We are going to go on to do our outside catering Fat Shauns. In a couple of weeks we will have our take away burgers, pizza, curry and hog roast etc available from our unit in Shalfleet."
