Unloaded Shotguns Stolen From Outskirts Of Tapnell Farm

Three men have been arrested after unloaded shot guns were stolen from the outskirts of Tapnell Farm.

The weapons are said to have been taken from Top Targets clay pigeon shoot, an independent company operating on the grounds of Tapnell Farm.

A 21-year-old man, 24-year-old man and 25-year-old man, all from London, detained on suspicion of theft, remain in police custody.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said:

"Officers investigating the theft of two unloaded shot guns from a premises on Newport Road, Yarmouth on Saturday 3 July have made three arrests. 

"The firearms, which were fully licenced, were not loaded and no ammunition was stolen.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
