A two-vehicle collision has happened in Shalfleet this afternoon (Wednesday).
Isle of Wight Radio understands a vehicle transporting horses is involved.
The incident has happened near Hamstead Drive between Shalfleet village and the Horse and Groom pub.
Traffic is slow in the area.
Due to a vehicle accident, route 7, via Shalfleet is being diverted from Ningwood, Station Road through Wellow to Thorley Road to regain the route. Diversion will be in both directions

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said:
'We were called at 2.38pm this afternoon (Wednesday 30 June) to a report of a collision between a grey Fiat Doblo Dynamic and a horse box on the A3054 in Ningwood.
'The driver of the Fiat suffered minor head injuries and was assessed by paramedics at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
'Road closures were in place while the road was cleared and were lifted at 3.17pm.
'The collision is being treated as an accident at this time.'
