Two People Arrested On Suspicion Of Class A Drug Offences

Two people have been arrested for being concerned in the supply of class A drugs on the Isle of Wight.

Isle of Wight Police said two warrants were executed yesterday (Friday), acting on information from the public.

Posting on Facebook, officers said a 24 year old man and a 22 year old woman were arrested and released under investigation.

Police said they located a quantity of drugs,  believed to be heroin, which will be tested in due course before a charging decision is made.

The main area of focus for police has been the Nineacres school field, shrubbery at Carisbrooke Castle and St Mary’s Churchyard in Carisbrooke.
