Travel Disruption As 68mph Winds Hit The Isle Of Wight

Stormy weather is causing travel disruption this morning (Tuesday).

Gusts of up to 68mph were recorded in Shanklin overnight, according to the Isle of Wight Met Service.

We just had a very loud sounding 68mph gust at our Shanklin station.

Strong winds have led to the cancellation of Hovertravel services.

Red Funnel is also warning of delays to its Southampton to Cowes Red Jet.
