Transcendental Meditation Event Heading To Brading Roman Villa This Weekend

An Isle of Wight Transcendental Meditation (TM) teacher is hoping to bring 'group coherence' to the Island tomorrow (Saturday).

Will Treend — who has taught the technique to hundreds of people over the course of more than two decades — will host the event at Brading Roman Villa from 2pm onwards.

The practice of TM involves two 22-minute meditations each day, with the intention of effortlessly observing a mantra and remaining in a present state of mind, although attendees who have not previously learned will be given a technique by Will beforehand.

TM is estimated to be practised by around four million people across the globe, notably the likes of David Lynch, Russell Brand, Jerry Seinfeld and musician Tim Burgess — who Will previously taught.

Will said:

"A meditation technique will be given to non-meditators so we can create group coherence and celebrate our infinite potential

"The goal is to initiate waves of bliss, happiness and creativity for ourselves and others, effortlessly experiencing a taste of our transcendental selves."

A free information pack is available by calling 07950 216374 or emailing [email protected].

The event is free to attend, although any donations will help to cover venue costs.
