A 16-year-old boy has been injured after an alleged assault in Cowes last night (Thursday).
Officers were called to the incident on Newport Road at around 7.40pm.
Hampshire Constabulary say they believe the incident took place between 6.30pm and 7pm.
A 16-year old boy suffered minor injuries including bruising to his jaw and face.
Investigations are continuing to identify the suspect.
