Winds of up to 106mph have hit The Needles as Storm Bella took hold overnight.
According to National Coastwatch Needles, the 106mph gust was recorded at around 3.22am on Sunday (December 27).
High gusts continued to be reported throughout the night, with winds easing from around 7am.
It's also caused some residents in the Newport area to lose power overnight.
