School Trip Sees More Than 400 Lanesend Pupils Visit Havenstreet

Lanesend Primary School in Cowes celebrated Christmas with a visit to Havenstreet as pupils shared their festive show.

December 20 saw the school's performance of Polar Express, part of their Autumn term ‘Pole to Pole' studies, which saw them learn about all things polar.

During their visit to Havenstreet, more than 400 children, dressed in their pyjamas and with their favourite teddy, were given a special Believe ticket.

A spokesperson for Lanesend Primary said:

"The day saw us make our way to the Santa Special steam train with an extra special helping of snow.

"The children had a magical train ride, culminating in a special meet with Father Christmas himself where they received a gift.

"This was followed by hot chocolate and a sweet treat before we made our way back to school."
