Ryde Man With Depression Braves The Shave For Mountbatten

Christopher Hayton

A man who has depression and mental health issues is braving the shave for Mountbatten.

Christopher Hayton, from Ryde, says he wants to give something back to the charity, which cared for his Mum before she died of cancer.

He will have his head shaved on 23 April at 10am in Newport at the Dapper Chap.

So far he has raised £45.

"I suffer with a form of mental health and depression and it's been very difficult during lockdown so I am trying to get out there and do my bit for Mountbatten - they did one to one care for my mum and they looked after her very well before she died.

"Keep your chin up Island and keep raising money for Mountbatten - then need the money".

To sponsor Christopher you can send him an email or make out a cheque to Mountbatten Hospice.

Because of a form of epilepsy Christoper suffers with, he says he can't look at a computer screen often.

You can email him on [email protected]
