Robin Hill Officially Sold As New Island Firm Takes Over

It's been revealed that Robin Hill Country Park will soon reopen after it's takeover by a new Island firm was finalised today (Wednesday).

Robin Hill Partnership Limited has been setup by Lee Priddle of AMP Hire Isle of Wight, with further connections to C&O Tractors in Newport.

The former Vectis Ventures owned attraction was listed for sale in November 2023 for a tidy sum of £2.25 million pounds - just a month after its closure was first announced. Rides, including the swinging ship 'Colossus', were removed from the site and transported to Blackgang Chine.

Visitors will soon be able to explore the grounds once more and will be able to do so for free for the first time since 1971. They will, however, have to pay for parking.

It's understood that several attractions will be available to enjoy within the grounds for an extra cost.

Planning consent is also held by the site for holiday lodges and glamping tents, though there has been no confirmation as to whether those plans will go ahead.
