Revealed: Today's Isle Of Wight Coronavirus Case Numbers

Another 99 cases of coronavirus have been recorded on the Isle of Wight.

That number is up on yesterday's total of 64.

However, figures released today (Thursday) show the rate of new cases on the Island is continuing to fall however.

Of the 5,692 cases recorded on the Island since the start of the pandemic, 4,013 have come this month (January).

January's total.

The Island's seven-day rolling average, per 100,00, is now at 611.5 - yesterday it was at 651.8

The rolling rate measures patterns or trends in the Government's coronavirus figures.

A further three coronavirus patients have passed away at St Mary's Hospital, according to data released today.

It takes the hospital's death toll since the start of the pandemic to 100.

It takes the Isle of Wight's monthly (January) death toll, when combined with fatalities in the community, to 46.
