Multiple emergency services were involved in the rescue of a girl who had reportedly fallen from a height in East Cowes on Saturday evening, June 12.
According to firefighters, the person in need of help had to be rescued after a reported fall from a location close to The Esplanade.
The alarm was raised at 9.38pm.
Teams from fire stations in Newport and Ryde attended, along with coastguards from Ventnor, Bembridge and The Needles alongside paramedics.
Though an air ambulance arrived with specialist medics, the casualty was taken to hospital by a land vehicle.
The fire and rescue service reported its crews stood down at the scene at 10.49pm.
