There are reports of a crash at Hale Common, near Arreton this evening (Thursday).
Isle of Wight Radio listeners say two cars are involved in the incident.
It's said to have happened near The Fighting Cocks pub, outside Leslies Suzuki Garage.
Traffic is being diverted via Merstone and The Downs.
A diversion is also in place via Newchurch.
There are long delays in the area.
