Renewable Energy Blow For Islanders As Pure Green Energy Ceases Trading After 16 Years

In a blow to Islanders looking for the best energy deal, Ryde's Pure Green Energy Ltd ceased trading as of 5pm yesterday (Thursday) following 16 years of serving the local community.

The renewable energy specialists made public an insolvency order to cease trading with immediate effect from the end of trading on July 11.

Customers were informed by email that Pure Green Energy – which specialised in the supply and installation of renewable energy solutions – had been advised by an insolvency practitioner to cease trading as of today (11th July 2024).

A statement issued via the company's social media said:

"Pure Green Energy would like to thank their wonderful customers for their support over the last 16 years.

"We have installed over 2,000 renewable projects, varying from large biomass systems to small domestic solar photovoltaic panels throughout the Isle of Wight and the M4 corridor.

"Unfortunately, adverse market conditions mean that we have had to make the difficult decision to close the business and will cease trading as of today, Thursday, 11th July at 5pm.

"We wish all our clients well and thank you for your past custom.

"Pure Green Energy Team."
