On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the Isle of Wight will fall silent to mark Armistice Day.
Today (Wednesday) is exactly 102 years to the day since the end of World War One.
To remember those who lost their lives, Islanders are being asked to take 2 minutes within their home or on their doorstep.
Isle of Wight Radio will also fall silent at 11am as mark of respect to those who served in the Armed Forces.
