UPDATED STORY: Red Funnel has cancelled some Red Jet sailings this morning (Thursday) due to reduced visibility in the Solent.
The 6.05am from Southampton to Cowes and the 6.40am from Cowes to Southampton, have been suspended due to heavy fog.
More disruption is expected throughout today and tomorrow.

Hovertravel is running, but with delays.

The IW Met Service said:
"The fog will gradually clear and lift into low cloud on Thursday, but it is likely to remain foggy at times around westem and southem coasts.
"Thursday evening will see the fog thicken up once again and will become widespread and dense in many places overnight.
"Friday will see the pattern repeat, with some coastal parts seeing foggy conditions, but sunshine develop outside of these areas."
