New Support Grant For Isle Of Wight Businesses

Isle of Wight businesses are being encouraged to apply for a new grant scheme.

The Get Set Solent growth grant is available to small and medium businesses.

Grants of up to £25,000 are available to enable businesses to invest in their future growth.

The scheme is aimed at boosting the local economy and providing more jobs to the area.

Alongside the grant, it also provides a specialist service to help businesses overcome the two main barriers to growth: generating sufficient profitable customers and accessing finance.

Helen Stratton, Programme Director for GetSet Solent, said:

“This is a really exciting opportunity for businesses across the Isle of Wight to get funding to develop and improve their offering for the future. We know the Isle of Wight and the wider Solent area is full of talented companies and entrepreneurs and we can’t wait to deliver this funding.

"The grant programme is there to help ambitious businesses unlock their growth potential both locally and nationally.”

The programme also offers one-to-one mentoring to help unlock business growth potential.

These flexible sessions with marketing, business planning and finance advisors aim to help refine business goals and strategy to ensure growth.
