A new skincare clinic has officially opened at Landguard Manor in Shanklin.

Thanks to the easing of restrictions Elizabeth Milton Skincare Clinic welcomed VIPs to an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The business originally opened its doors on Monday 12 April when personal care services could resume. Skincare specialist, Elizabeth Milton wanted to invite special guests to experience Landguard Manor as well as see the skincare clinic in person.

The Clinic offers a range of anti-ageing, skin lifting and tightening treatments using the Zemits skincare system.

Elizabeth Milton said:

“It’s an incredible feeling being able to invite people into Landguard Manor to officially open my business. While the skincare clinic opened in April, I wanted to officially celebrate the launch with a ribbon cutting event as an important milestone to remember.

“I’d like to thank everyone who attended. Those invited were able to learn more about my business, the treatments on offer and enjoy this glorious location.”

To officially open the new business, Shanklin town mayor, councillor Chris Quirk and owner of Landguard Manor, Daphne Mitchell were invited to cut the ribbon.

Shanklin town mayor, councillor Chris Quirk said:

“Despite the challenges of the last 18 months, it’s fantastic to see such an entrepreneurial business open at Landguard Manor. Elizabeth Milton Skincare Clinic is a fantastic addition to this historic manor which is home to a diverse range of companies. I am proud to be able to support the launch of this new venture by cutting the ribbon.”

Landguard Manor is a grade 2 listed building and was mentioned in the doomsday book. Throughout the centuries the building has been extended to accommodate various functions and uses. In recent times, the manor house has been used as a wedding venue as well as office space for different businesses.

Daphne Mitchell, owner of Landguard Manor added: “Elizabeth Milton Skincare Clinic is a perfect fit for this historic location. The building is set in quiet gardens offering a peaceful retreat for anyone looking for rest and relaxation. I look forward to seeing Elizabeth’s business grow.”
