"They are currently working hard behind-the-scenes doing everything possible to make this a reality

"We don't have anything further to tell you right now but will keep you updated - stay tuned & let us know what you think

"If you haven't already got your tickets don't forget we have Payment Plan & Full Payment Tickets available...including Islander Special."

Last week, Isle of Wight Festival organisers confirmed they were 'exploring options'.

It followed the Government's Roadmap announcement, which unveiled plans to end all social distancing requirements by June 21.

The Isle of Wight Festival was due to end a day before that date on June 20, and start on June 17.

This year's line-up was carried over from last year's event which was cancelled due to the pandemic.

Acts including Lionel Ritchie, Lewis Capaldi, Duran Duran and Jess Glynne are set to take to the stage at Seaclose Park.
