Monday Morning Lie In After Euro 2020 Final For Some Isle Of Wight School Children

Some Isle of Wight primary schools will be allowing children to arrive later on Monday morning, following Sunday night’s European Championship final.

England will take on Italy in their first final of a major football tournament since 1966. To mark the momentous occasion, a number of schools have announced plans to keep registration open until 10am (some 10.30am), to allow tired children a little extra sleep, after staying up late to watch the match with their families.

Cowes Primary, Barton Primary, Godshill Primary, Wroxall Primary, Yarmouth Primary, Nine Acres and Northwood Primary are some of the schools to confirm they'll be accepting later registrations.

The final will be shown on television on Sunday, July 11 at 8pm.
