Licence Granted For Isle Of Wight's Toogether Festival

A licence has been granted for the Isle of Wight's Toogether Festival.

The three-day multi-genre family music festival is being held at Sandown Airport on Friday, July 30 until Sunday, August 1.

The event organisers have confirmed a licence has been granted by the Isle of Wight Council.

Capacity for the music festival has been reduced by around 30 per cent.

Speaking to Isle of Wight Radio, event organiser, Mark Weber, said:

"We have lowered our capacity to make sure our attendees can feel safe in the knowledge there will be plenty of space for them if they choose to maintain a distance from other people.

"We plan for the event to be a normal music festival with no restrictions in place though. There will be hand sanitising stations around the site and people can wear masks if they choose to.

"We are very excited about the line-up this year and believe this will be the perfect party to celebrate the return of our freedom and a chance for us all to get back Toogether once again!"
