Isle Of Wight Rhythmtree Festival CANCELLED For Second Year

The Rhythmtree Festival has been cancelled again because of the pandemic.

In three weeks time, the organisers were hoping to prepare the site at Three Gates Farm, Newport.

The festival had planned to host artists from all over the world - but has been forced to put the event and tour on hold until next year.

A spokesperson for the event said:

'We so wanted to celebrate our Rhythmtree big 10th birthday bash with you all - not bring you a stripped-down version with restrictions. With so many uncertainties we cannot guarantee that we can deliver the Rhythmtree experience that we all know and love. The decision to postpone has not come lightly.'

'This is truly not the news we wanted to deliver, so to give you something to look forward to in 2021 we are aiming to run two smaller capacity single day events without camping at Three Gates Farm. The provisional dates for these events are Saturday August 14th and Sunday 15th, giving you the chance to enjoy the atmosphere of Rhythmtree just on a smaller, safer scale and, of course, a little later after the lockdown has hopefully been lifted.

'Tickets for these events will be going on sale and acts announced soon, so please keep an eye on our website and social media pages for more information.'

We understand that some of you may want to exchange your current RT2021 ticket for an RT2022 ticket - especially the significantly discounted Early-Bird tickets.

There is an exchange facility until 30 April 2021.

Please visit www.rhythmtree.co.uk/refund to apply to defer your ticket. Any tickets not exchanged will automatically be refunded in full, with no deductions, from 4 May 2021.

For all tickets purchased at Caffè Isola, please also see www.rhythmtree.co.uk/refund for full repayment or exchange instructions.

The refund will mean you can now decide for yourselves, knowing what the world is like now, whether you would like tickets for RT2022, rather than us committing you to a ticket purchased before COVID ever existed!

Tickets for Rhythmtree 2022 will go on sale at the end of the 2021 summer.
