A man from Wakefield has been charged with blackmail, following an incident on the Isle of Wight.
31 year old Kwaku Achampong, of Chantry Road in Wakefield, was remanded in custody and appeared before Southampton Magistrates Court on Saturday (November 13).
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said:
"On 8 November, officers received an allegation of blackmail on the Isle of Wight."
He will now appear at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on December 17.
