Hose Rhodes Dickson Makes Mountbatten Donation

Isle of Wight estate agent, Hose Rhodes Dickson, has donated thousands of pounds to Mountbatten.

The independent agency has pledged to keep supporting the Island's hospice's Mountbatten at Home Community Nursing Team, which provides end of life care for people at home, while also supporting family and carers.

The company has managed to raise £5,000 for the charity, despite COVID restraints.

Hose Rhodes Dickson director, Marcus Waldron, said:

“We have always been huge supporters of our local community and it is really important to us that we give something back to the Island, especially during this current climate.

"The work done by Mountbatten plays a big role in Island life. I don’t think there is anyone who hasn’t been affected in one way or another, whether personally or through family and friends.

"The fact that we have supported Walk the Wight from the beginning makes for a natural fit that we should continue to support Mountbatten, especially during this difficult time."

Mountbatten CEO, Nigel Hartley, said:

"Hose Rhodes Dickson has been long term supporters of Mountbatten and we’re so pleased they have chosen to raise money in order to continue the funding of a Mountbatten nurse.

"The support will directly benefit so many people living on the Island needing the support of our specialist nurses.”

Hose Rhodes Dickson will continue to raise money for Mountbatten throughout 2021 through a series of events, in accordance with Government guidelines.
