What is understood to be a medical emergency - prompted a call out for The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
It landed in Northwood Park this afternoon (Monday), according to the Isle of Wight NHS Trust.
An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle was also in attendance at around 2.30pm.
The person was transferred to Southampton General Hospital.
