Half-Term 'Explorer Quests' At Osborne And Carisbrooke Castle

Isle of Wight families are being invited to take part in English Heritage's Explorer Quests this February half-term.

The outdoor experiences are taking place at both Carisbrooke Castle and Osborne.

Running between February 19 to 27, the quests will take young visitors on an adventure through the historic grounds and gardens as they find fun games and activities inspired by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert at Osborne, and knights and soldiers at Carisbrooke Castle.

Discover quirky facts along the way, tackle playful puzzles, and find out what it takes to get moving like people from the past.

Rebecca Hornby, Events Manager at English Heritage said:

“Our adventure quests are packed with puzzles and activities to get the whole family moving, and are just the thing to shake off the winter blues this half term. With centuries of history to discover, fun activities to try, and two amazing places to conquer – this is the perfect time to get out in the fresh air and enjoy a historic day out.”

The half-term Explorer Quests will run from 10am and 4pm.

Tickets can be booked online at www.english-heritage.org.uk.
