Graduating Yogis Bringing Spiritual Expertise To Island

Four Island School of Yoga students are celebrating after successfully completing their yoga teacher training.

Last week saw the graduation of Island School of Yoga's (ISOY) first class of teachers.

After completing a 300 hour training programme the four students received their certification as yoga teachers from Emma Goodier, founder and owner of ISOY.

Emma said:

“I am proud of my students and in awe of their personal and professional development.

“I am confident they will all go on to successfully establish themselves as inspiring, kind and professional yoga teachers in their own right.”

The programme, which is certified by Yoga Alliance Professionals UK, was taught using a mixture of online and face-to-face teaching.

The modular structure of the course allowed students flexibility in how they studied.

Initially studying the teachings of yoga for their own development to create a strong foundation; they can then decide if they want to progress to the second module for teaching.

As the students begin to establish their own yoga businesses, ISOY provides an ongoing mentoring programme to advise and assist as necessary during their first year.
